Our Family Workers
Our Family Workers are the heart of Parent to Parent. They walk alongside families who have children and young people with additional support needs, offering a listening ear, practical guidance, and emotional support when it’s needed most. Taking time to understand each family’s unique situation, our Family Workers help parents build confidence, navigate systems and services, prepare for meetings, and feel less alone. Support is flexible, person-centred, and shaped by what matters to each family at that moment in time
Early Years Family Support Worker
Our Early Years Family Support Workers focus on supporting families during the crucial early stages of their child’s life. This can be from pre birth, in hospital, during a stay in NICU or at home at any time. They work with parents of babies and young children to provide reassurance, information, and early intervention support, helping families understand their child’s development and access the right help as early as possible. By building trusting relationships and offering tailored support, our Early Years Family Support Workers helps families feel informed, empowered, and supported as they take their first steps on their journey
